Cremation Service

A Cremation Service is for those that wish to cremate but want to hold a service for the deceased first. We can do all the necessary arrangements but the client is more than welcome to use any church, pastor etc they wish. All we need is the time, date and location where the service will be held.

Church Service

Including: Collection & transportation of the deceased, Storage until cremation takes place, Registration of death, Coffin spray(flowers on coffin), Hearse rental, Admin, NON-ENGRAVED wooden ash urn.

Excluding: Pamphlets, Church fees, Engraving on wooden urn, Private Doctors fees, Church flowers

The following must be provided:

  • Original South African(passport if non RSA citizen) ID and copy of informant’s(usually next of kin) ID.
  • Any information on policies the deceased may have had in order to assist with the claiming process.
  • Choice of coffin the family wishes to use for the church service. Please note that choice of coffin affects the price.
  • Location of deceased. PS: If the person has not passed away yet, please inform the hospital or old age home staff that you intend to use the services of SAF-BOB Funerals. Please provide them with our contact details as well.
  • Details of church where the service will be held as well as the date and time of service.
  • Any clothing that you want us to dress the deceased in.
  • Choice of flowers for the coffin spray. Any special or additional requests will result in the price being affected. Please inquire first.
  • Any pamphlet information.
  • A completed Schedule A that will be provided by us.
